How long does it take to receive my credit card points?
The time it takes to receive points from one of our credit card partners to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account varies based on financial partner. Usually credit card partners will transfer the points around the same time of the month as previous transfers. If you have had a previous transfer from the credit card partner, view Your Activity Statement now to view when this occurred. If you have recently taken out a credit card from one of our partners and have not had a previous transaction from them, the points will come across once a month and usually after the first statement period and after you have made the credit card payment.
Common reasons for points not being successfully transferred from a credit card partner to Qantas Frequent Flyer are:
- The name on your credit card account is different to your Frequent Flyer account
- The Qantas Frequent Flyer number held by the bank is incorrect
- The bank has withheld points due to certain account terms and conditions. Qantas is unable to comment on partner terms and conditions as they vary significantly from partner to partner.
