Points Boost is a fun and exciting way to start earning Qantas Points. You can play Points Boost on your mobile or tablet. Through a series of small tasks, you’ll be challenged, learn a little about the Qantas Frequent Flyer program, and hopefully earn enough points to use towards some great rewards.

What are the key dates?
Members must earn between 23 July and 2 September 2018 (excludes Family Transfers, points transferred from Qantas Business Rewards and indirect earn credit cards, points earned through any Qantas surveys and points earned on flights that are not Qantas operated and have a Qantas (QF) flight number) and have them credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account by 11 November 2018. Bonus points earned as part of this offer will be credited to your account by 25 November 2018.
Can I participate in Points Boost?
You are eligible to participate in Points Boost if you received an email on 23 July 2018 and/or a letter (to the address listed in you QFF account) inviting you to join Points Boost. Members not specifically targeted for this offer may still be able to view the campaign, however, will not be eligible to receive the bonus points.
What do I need to do?
- Download or update the Qantas Airways App and navigate to the "My QFF" tab (in the bottom menu of the App).
- Choose a Points Boost level - a points goal you'd like to aim for, once it's locked in, this cannot be changed.
- Earn some Qantas Points! There are 1000s of ways to choose from. Points Boost will give you lots of hints and tips to get you earning points for things you already do.
What are the maximum or minimum amount of bonus points I can be awarded for Points Boost?
The amount of bonus points you can earn as part of Points Boost depends on the Points Boost level you select:
- Easy-Peasy: earn at least 800 Qantas Points, and you'll receive 800 bonus points
- Mid-Strength: earn at least 2,000 Qantas Points, and you'll receive 2,000 bonus points
- I'm All In: earn at least 3,500 Qantas Points, and you'll receive 3,500 bonus points.
To keep the game fair for all, you cannot change your level once it's locked in. If you lock in the 'Easy-Peasy' level, but exceed the 800 points target, you will only be eligible for 800 bonus points (even if you earn the amount of points required for the 'Mid-Strength' or 'I'm All In' levels).
Similarly, if you lock in the 'Mid-Strength' or 'I'm All In' level, but do not meet the points required for each respective level, you will not be eligible for bonus points (even if you earn the of points required for a lower level, such as 'Easy-Peasy').
What if I'm not interested in any of the points earning partners/brands that I come across through Points Boost?
There are thousands of other ways you can earn Qantas Points. We'll show you lots of hints and tips via Points Boost but if none of them feel quite right, you can see even more ways to earn.
Will points be instantly credited to my Frequent Flyer account?
Points will be awarded instantly for joining Points Boost via the Qantas App, selecting a level, returning to Points Boost on each new day and correctly answering quiz questions. Please note that it will take longer for points earned through a partner to be credited. As a general rule, allow about 30 days, but some can take up to 10 weeks.
How will I know when points have been credited to my Frequent Flyer account?
You can find your points balance at the top of the ‘MY QFF' tab in the Qantas App.
Trouble getting started with Points Boost?
Hang in there! Here are some tips to help get you off and running.
Start by downloading the Qantas Airways App
The Qantas Airways App requires iOS 9.3 or above for Apple iOS devices; and Android 5.0 or above for Android devices. Check the software version your device is running on and update it to the most recent version if possible.
Log in to the Qantas Airways App to see Points Boost
Log in to the Qantas Airways App with your Qantas Frequent Flyer (QFF) number, your surname, and your 4-digit PIN.
You can find your QFF number on your QFF membership card, as well on top of your QFF emails (including the email inviting you to join Points Boost). If you can’t remember your 4-digit PIN, which is a number you chose when you set up your QFF account, you can reset your PIN. When you reset your PIN, you can choose to either:
- Send yourself a temporary one-time use PIN as an SMS to the mobile phone number listed in your QFF account.
- Answer security questions. Note that there are four security questions shown, but only three correct answers are required to reset your PIN. You can leave one of the four security questions unanswered. ‘Date of join’ is shown on your QFF membership card.

Points Boost is under ‘My QFF’ in the Qantas App
In the ‘My QFF’ section of the Qantas Airways App, you will see the message 'Welcome to Points Boost'.
The first time you use the Qantas App, you will see introductory screens showing the features of the app. You can swipe through these or choose 'skip'.
Go to 'My QFF' (My Qantas Frequent Flyer), in the bottom-right corner of the Qantas Airways App. If you see information on Qantas Points offers in ‘MY QFF’, and not a ‘Welcome to Points Boost’ message, be sure you are logged in as yourself using the QFF membership number shown in the email inviting you to Points Boost. Points Boost is only available to selected members.
If you selected to 'continue as a guest', when you go to the 'My QFF' section, you will be prompted to log in. You must log in to play Points Boost.
