  1. What is the Credit Card Status Credits Trial?

    The Credit Card Status Credits Trial is an exclusive Trial giving a limited number of Qantas Frequent Flyer members the opportunity to earn Credit Card Status Credits by making eligible purchases using selected credit cards from 28 November 2016 to 31 May 2018.
     
  2. What are Credit Card Status Credits?

    Credit Card Status Credits are earned by making eligible purchases using an eligible credit card and contribute towards attaining or retaining Qantas Silver, Gold and Platinum status but will not count towards Platinum One Status, Loyalty Bonus or Lifetime Status. There is a cap on how many Credit Card Status Credits that can count towards attaining and retaining your tier each membership year. Please refer to your email invitation to find out what this cap is.
     
  3. How can I earn Credit Card Status Credits?

    You can earn Credit Card Status Credits if you register for the Trial via your email invitation and apply for an eligible credit card by 28 February 2017, are approved and make eligible purchases using the eligible Qantas Points earning credit card between 28 November 2016 and 31 May 2018.

    One Credit Card Status Credit will be awarded for every 400 Qantas Points earned by making eligible purchases using the eligible credit card (excluding any bonus Qantas Points awarded to you for taking out the credit card), up to the amount specified in your email invitation.

  1. How many Credit Card Status Credits can I earn in a Membership Year?

    Please refer to the terms and conditions in your email invitation to find out how many Credit Card Status Credits you could earn in a Membership Year.
     
  2. When does the Trial end?

    The Trial ends on 31 May 2018.
     
  3. Where can I see my Credit Card Status Credit balance?

    Your Credit Card Status Credits balance will be provided to you in a monthly email, plus, you'll also be able to view the Credit Card Status Credits you earn in 'Your Activity' Statement within the 'Your Account' page on qantas.com. However, the total you see on the 'Your Account' home page will only reflect your Status Credits earned from flying.
     
  4. When will my Credit Card Status Credits be allocated to my account?

    Although you will be not be able to see the Credit Card Status Credits you've earned on the Your Account page on qantas.com, they will be allocated to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account at the same time as the Qantas Points earned on eligible purchases using your eligible credit card are credited to your points balance. This can take up to 8 weeks after making an eligible purchase. Look out for your monthly Status Tracker email to provide an update of how many Credit Card Status Credits you have earned or check in 'Your Activity' Statement.

  6. Will Credit Card Status Credits contribute to my Lifetime Status Credits?

    No, only Status Credits earned from flying contribute to your Lifetime Status.
     
  7. Does Credit Card Status Credits contribute towards all Qantas Frequent Flyer status?

    Credit Card Status Credits earned from eligible credit card spend will contribute towards attaining or retaining Qantas Silver, Gold and Platinum status. They will not contribute towards attaining or retaining Platinum One, Qantas' elite flying status.
     
  8. I know others who are interested in the Trial, can they be included?

    This Trial is exclusive and only open to a limited number of Qantas Frequent Flyer members who were invited to participate. Only members who were sent the original email invitation can be part of this Trial.
